WASHINGTON, D.C.-The Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association and Verizon Wireless have filed a joint petition with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to review the Federal Communications Commission’s denial of Verizon’s petition for forbearance from Wireless Number Portability (WNP) obligations, claiming the FCC’s ruling is in violation of Section 10 of the Communications Act of 1934.
