DULLES, Va.-Orbcomm Global L.P. said Motorola Inc.’s Market Solutions Division, based in Scottsdale, Ariz., will become a reseller of Orbcomm satellite communications services used in Motorola’s Spatia utility portfolio management system.
The Spatia solution is an Internet-based system that enables customers to access data and control equipment in difficult-to-read sites.
Motorola said it plans to use the Steller Satellite Communications ST2500 subscriber communicator to send and receive information via the Orbcomm network.
