DENVER-Reason Wireless Ware Inc. hopes consumers find its “Voice of Reason” makes wireless communications purchases over the Internet easier.
Reason’s new online retail store for wireless communications products sells cell phones, pagers, handheld electronic devices and wireless service, including wireless phone airtime rate plans and messaging/pager airtime plans.
What sets Reason apart from other online retailers, according to the company, is its “Voice of Reason” that simplifies the wireless purchasing process. An interactive online sales associate walks customers through both the Web site and wireless decision-making processes. Customers can look through all products in all categories on their own and make choices independent of the online salesperson, said the company.
Reason relies on sophisticated decision analysis software to help customers through wireless options and also provides individual customer service through a toll-free number.
Reason also announced its co-founders Jeffrey A. Kohler and Christopher R. Hotz have been named chief executive officer and president, respectively.
Before co-founding Reason with Hotz, Kohler was a Western states district manager of consumer sales and sales manager for AT&T Wireless Services Inc. in Denver. Hotz was Colorado district manager, Colorado direct sales manager and corporate account direct sales representative for AT&T Wireless.
Kohler and Hotz will join Joseph S. Davis and Frank Steed on Reason’s board of directors. Davis is president of Davis Marketing Services and a special visiting professional and executive in residence at the University of Colorado at Denver. Steed is chairman of eBags Inc., a national online luggage retailer.
