SAN FRANCISCO-World Wireless Communications Inc. filed an action for permanent injunctive relief, defamation and fraud against Credit Bancorp N.V. dba Credit Bancorp Ltd., Douglas C. Brandon, Richard J. Blech, Thomas Rittweger and Dennis Mazurkiewicz in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California in San Francisco.
At the same time, a major shareholder of World Wireless filed an action in the same court against the same individuals for breach of contract, breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and rescission. The action arose from a credit facility agreement entered into by and between CBL and the shareholder.
