ATLANTA-LHS InfoCell Inc., a subsidiary of LHS Group Inc., announced Tele 2000, a BellSouth-owned and operated international property in Lima, Peru, chose LHS’ InfoCell ConVerge as its point-of-sale solution.
Ernst & Young will act as the system integrator, responsible for the customization and implementation of ConVerge. Interfaces from ConVerge to Kenan Systems’ Arbor OM and from ConVerge to Certicom, a credit scoring engine, will allow service payments, equipment sales and services orders to be entered through ConVerge.
Ken Rubin, vice president of sales and integration for LHS InfoCell, said this is the third launch of ConVerge in Latin America.
Tele 2000 provides cellular cable and paging services to approximately 300,000 subscribers throughout Peru, said LHS.
