Canadian IoT firm Tapplock has launched a new generation of security solutions including the Tapplock one+, and its enterprise platform, Tapplock Enterprise
Padlocks are often used by businesses to secure assets. The company highlighted that assigning keys, managing user permissions and tracking access history can be time-consuming and inefficient.
?Tapplock has created an easier way to manage physical security with a smart padlock and centralized access control management platform,? the company said in a realease.
?Instead of relying on keys or combinations, Tapplock one+ uses a state-of-the-art fingerprint reader to allow users to gain access and can also be opened using Morse code or Bluetooth. The smart padlock can store up to 500 fingerprints and identifies users to a 99.999% accuracy. The rugged lock features anti-shim and anti-pry technologies as well as an industry IP67 waterproof rating.?
The Tapplock one+ also boasts proprietary 128-bit encryption with security protocols for enhanced protection, the company said.
The Tapplock enterprise platform allows businesses to set custom lock permissions for users and manage them via groups. Using the platform, employers can view all of the locks as well as deploy and revoke fingerprints remotely and set access privileges.
?Comprehensive audit reports allow businesses to track every account activity with ease and view timestamps for when a lock was unlocked and locked. The platform sends mobile notifications for account related events and exports audit reports,? Tapplock said.
Tapplock one+ is available in three colors and is priced at $99.99.
