Tivoli Lighting has announced the launch of a new LED tape solution targeting high-end retail and restaurants, resorts and hotels, single and multi-family homes and apartment units in residential high-rise buildings.
Tivoli?s new Elite TivoTape LED light tape features high color rendering and R9 value to make colors standout in custom applications. Elite TivoTape offers a high color rendering of 97 and an R9 value of 93 in color temperatures of 2200K, 2400K, 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K. The light tape features tight LED spacing of the 2835 diodes to produce zero scalloping with a binning tolerance of 1.5 MacAdam Ellipse to preserve color consistency.
Elite TivoTape is available in standard brightness, high output, and very high output, providing 3.2, 4.5 and 7 watts per feet.
To maintain performance throughout the length of light tape, Elite TivoTape features a 4 oz. copper trace for thermal and electronic management that delivers longer runs up to 29 feet with virtually no lumen drop. The company has previously noted that most LED Tape uses between 1-3 oz of copper for the traces, and this can lead to reduced voltage — and lumens — over the maximum electronic run length of a tape.
?The 4 oz. copper trace provides greater durability and thermal management to increase its overall service life,? the company said in a release.
The LEDs in Elite TivoTape are protected by eXo Shield, an ultra-thin coat that seals the electronic component and circuitry.
?With an IP54 rating for protection from nominal moisture and dust, the LEDs run cooler and longer. The eXo Shield also prevents color shift by helping the light tape remain clear and flexible,? the firm added, going on to say that the tape is designed for easy installation and comes with an adhesive which bonds it to a variety of surfaces. The tape, the company said, “can be applied to extrusions and smooth surfaces for an even illumination with no bends or rises from poor adhesive performance.?
In addition, Elite TivoTape can be cut in 1-5/16-inch increments for custom applications including a wide variety of cove, millwork, signage, and many other interior applications. The interior LED light tape operates at 24 VDC.
The company also highlighted that Elite TivoTape is available in one foot increments and cut to specification. The LED light tape maintains 70% of their lumens at 60,000 hours and has a limited five-year warranty.
