Among the many changes planned for 5G is the expansion into higher frequencies in the millimeter wave spectrum. Wireless InSite accurately predicts multipath effects in indoor and outdoor environments, offering a powerful tool for detailed simulation of channel characteristics. With the addition of diffuse scattering capability, Wireless InSite can now include additional paths generated from scattering off of surfaces in the environment that are rough when compared to the much smaller wavelengths of millimeter waves.
