Man jumps to his death from cell tower

Police reports indicate that early this morning a man in Fontana, Calif., jumped from a cell tower off of Highway 210, ending his own life. A witness claims to have seen a man climbing up the cell tower around 6:38 a.m. Once near the top, he jumped. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Details are still slim, but police did confirm the man was from San Bernardino, Calif.

This is the second cell tower-related death of the year. The first was another civilian incident when a woman fell to her death in Texas earlier this month.
