Mobile Minute: The Mobile Minute is sponsored by SpiderCloud Wireless. Pinterest joins the list of social media sites that will use advertising to try to make money from its millions of visitors. Pinterest announced “promoted pins” several months ago, and now the company has shared the list of advertisers who will help get the program started. That list includes Disney, Target, lululemon, and GAP. The company says promoted pins will only appear in a user’s search and category feeds. Other social media sites that have added advertising include Facebook (including Instagram) and Twitter (including Vine). |
