LTE will take flight next year as AT&T plans to launch 4G LTE service for airplanes. The carrier says it will build an innovative air-to-ground network in the continental United States, based on global 4G LTE standards. The network will of course include Wi-Fi connectivity. AT&T is thought to be using WCS spectrum. The company says that Honeywell will provide hardware and service capabilities to deliver the in-flight connectivity solution.
