Movers & Shakers: LightSquared's new PR VP; ING's Kerrison added to TM Forum; and more

Current Analysis announced that it has named Tim Dowd as its new President and CEO. Dowd, former President and CEO of INPUT, will succeed Ray Keneipp. Mr. Dowd brings 25 years of experience leading growth-oriented information and technology-enabled service organizations.

LightSquared has appointed Terry Neal as the company’s senior vice president of public relations and communications. Reporting to Frank Boulben, chief marketing officer, Neal will oversee earned media strategy and implementation for LightSquared. Read more.

TM Forum announced Tony Kerrison, Chief Technology Officer and Head of Infrastructure Services of ING as Chairman of the Enterprise Cloud Leadership Council (ECLC). The ECLC provides a forum for enterprise cloud users to drive business and technical requirements for enterprise-grade cloud services. In addition to supporting the collaborative development of TM Forum’s Frameworx suite of standards for cloud services operations and management, the council also works toward removing the barriers to enterprise cloud services adoption. Qualcomm Incorporated announced that Dr. YK Cha will move from his role as senior vice president and president of Qualcomm Korea, to senior advisor to Jim Doh, senior VP of worldwide sales and president of Qualcomm CDMA Technologies Asia. As a result, Jim Doh has now been appointed to head up the combined Qualcomm Korea operations. Read more.

Accedian Networks announced that Mr. Paul J. Milbury has joined the Accedian Networks’ Board of Directors. Mr. Milbury brings over 30 years of experience exercising financial, operational and governance responsibilities in the technology sector. Mr. Milbury is a member of the boards of Infinera Corp, a digital optical networking company and Crossbeam Systems, a network security company. Read more.
