China Mobile adds 5M customers in July

China Mobile Ltd. (CHL) said it added just over 5 million new customers in July, pushing its total customer base to a world-leading 621.851 million subscribers.
China Mobile announced earlier this month that it added more than 32 million customers during the first six months of the year, which was a 3.2% increase compared with the first half of 2010. China Mobile’s continued growth now puts the carrier a fair distance above all of the customers in the world’s second largest mobile market, India, if a recent report is too be believed.
