Global Tower Partners picked up 37 telecommunications towers from NV Energy. The towers are located on NVE substation properties in and around Las Vegas, Nev. Details of the purchased were not disclosed.
The sale comes shortly after GTP secured $815 million in new financing.
“We are excited to transact with NVE and further our relationship moving forward as owners and operators of towers on their substation properties,” said GTP CEO Marc C. Ganzi. “The NVE professionals have built a great portfolio of tower assets and we feel we are well suited to further capitalize on these unique towers given our long-standing experience developing and operating towers on utility-owned real estate.”
GTP has previously picked up tower assets from Duke Energy and Progress Energy.
