Movers & Shakers: Ericsson appoints new CMO; LTE Awards 2011; and more

Arun Bhikshesvaran has been appointed Head of marketing and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Ericsson. He is currently Vice President Strategy and Marketing in region North America at Ericsson. Bhikshesvaran has more than 15 years of experience in the wireless communications industry. He has been with Ericsson since 1995 in many different positions spanning Research & Development, Project Management and Solutions Management. He holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas and has completed Post graduate executive programs in general management and business marketing at Columbia Business School and Kellogg respectively.

CorFire, the mobile commerce business of SK C&C USA, announced the appointment of two industry veterans, Pascal Caillon and George Eubank, to the CorFire team. Mr. Caillon joins CorFire as vice president Business Development and Mr. Eubank as vice president Financial Services.

MetraTech Corp., charging, billing, settlement and customer care software provider, announced that the company has expanded its leadership team with the addition of three key executives. Joining MetraTech as Chief Architecture Officer is Larry Dennison. Taking up the role of Vice President, Sales, Americas is industry veteran Barbara Lancaster. Susan Vincent, who was previously director, major accounts at MetraTech, moves into the newly created position of Vice President, Customer Operations.

Sunrise Telecom Incorporated, test and measurement solutions for telecom, cable and wireless networks, today announced the appointment of Mr. Helmut Berg to the company’s board of directors. Helmut Berg has more than 20 years of technical and executive management experience in the telecommunications test and measurement and industrial automation industries.
