Global Tower Partners said it has signed a definitive agreement with Arden Realty Inc. to market and lease rooftop and in-building access to wireless telecommunications carriers at 156 properties concentrated in the Los Angeles and Chicago markets.
Financial details of the agreement were not released.
The deal calls for GTP will market Arden Realty’s rooftops as prospective sites for wireless carriers and fiber providers while managing the existing installations on the rooftops and fiber access routes on the ground.
GTP said the deal brings the number of master leased rooftop sites to more than 8,500 across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Costa Rica. The company owns or master leases more than 13,000 sites, including 3,800 owned towers throughout the United States.
