Oscar Tenorio Calleja Appointed Country Manager

RAD Data Communications, the international manufacturer of telecommunications access solutions, has announced the establishment of an office in Mexico City. RAD Mexico will focus on the continued development of the company’s relationships with Mexican carriers.

The opening of a local office in Mexico is a symbol of RAD’s commitment to the Latin American market,” notes Jose Aronson, Director of Latin American Sales at RAD Data Communications. “RAD has been an integral part of the telecommunications industry in Mexico for almost as long as the company has existed, and the establishment of a permanent office will assist us in expanding our share of the market.”

Appointed to head the new office as country manager is Oscar Tenorio Calleja, a local IT profesional with extensive experience in the local and international telecoms market. He come to RAD after twelve years as Director of Multiservice Network Solutions at Ericsson. Prior to that he served as Deputy General Manager for Latin America at Huawei and as Commercial Vice President for the Telmex global account at Nokia Siemens.

“My goal in this new position is to strengthen RAD’s visibility as a leading supplier of Carrier Ethernet and mobile backhaul solutions to the local market,” Tenorio states.

Tenorio holds a degree in telecommunications engineering from Mexico’s National Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from IPADE, the School of Business of the Universidad Panamericana.
