AT&T Mobility (T) finally jumped on the unlimited mobile calling bandwagon with the launch of its aptly-named Unlimited Mobile to Any Mobile calling plans.
The carrier said the offering, which is set to launch tomorrow, provides new and existing customers with a qualifying voice plan and unlimited messaging access to unlimited calls from their mobile device to any other mobile device in the United States. Those qualifying plans include “select” Nation and FamilyTalk plans that also include the carrier’s unlimited messaging plan.
Sprint Nextel Corp. was the first of the nationwide operators to rollout the unlimited mobile calling plans with its Any Mobile, Anytime offering in late 2009, a move that was followed more recently on a limited availability basis by Verizon Wireless with its Unlimited Any Mobile offering.
