A dozen photos and some light details about a forthcoming HTC Corp. device for Verizon Wireless’ (VZ) new LTE network have leaked.
No doubt the device maker and carrier plan to announce the Android-based smart phone at next week’s Consumer Electronics Show. But details about the forthcoming HTC Thunderbolt haven’t been kept under lock and key and now Droid-Life.com has posted a dozen photos of the device that looks very much like the EVO 4G on Sprint Nextel Corp.’s (S) WiMAX network.
If this device becomes the most popular and heavily marketed device for Verizon’s LTE network at launch, it would mark another significant win for the Taiwan-based device manufacturer. HTC’s EVO 4G was also the first smart phone on Sprint’s WiMAX network.
Little else is know about the internal specifications of the Thunderbolt, but it does appear to share the same 4.3-inch screen as the EVO 4G.
