Smart Gold's Samsung Galaxy Tab promo goes nationwide

MANILA, Philippines – Due to the overwhelming response to its exclusive Samsung Galaxy Tab postpaid offer, Smart Communications Inc. is bringing the highly anticipated tablet to more malls and outlets across the country.
For just two days, today and tomorrow, select Smart Wireless Centers in Metro Manila and elsewhere in Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao will be offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab free at Smart Gold Unlimited Data Plan 2000.
Under the regular offer, the Galaxy Tab comes free at Unlimited Data Plan 3000.
Smart is the only local operator offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab bundled with mobile network and data services.
“We first offered the Samsung Galaxy Tab at a lower postpaid plan during our Smart Gold Rush: 12 Thrills of Christmas events held at Eastwood Mall and Power Plant Mall,” said Tricia Dizon, Smart department head for postpaid and prepaid business.
“Word about this exclusive deal spread and the demand for the bundle rose not just in Metro Manila but in other cities nationwide,” she said.
Metro Manila residents interested in getting the Galaxy Tab may sign up at participating Smart Wireless Centers at SM North EDSA, SM Megamall, Shangri-La Plaza Mall, Rockwell Power Plant and Festival Mall.
Those in southern Luzon may avail themselves of the exclusive offer at SM Batangas and SM Dasmariñas. Northern and central Luzon applicants, meanwhile, may apply at SM Baguio, Nepo Dagupan, SM Clark and SM Pampanga branches of Smart.
The Galaxy Tab offer is available in the Visayas and Mindanao at Smart Wireless Centers at SM Iloilo, SM Cebu, SM Davao, and Limketkai Cagayan de Oro.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a seven-inch touch-screen device that can perform both portable tablet computer and mobile phone functions. Running on Android OS 2.2, it can be customized through countless applications that range from games, social networking, multimedia, news and information to entertainment and business tools.
