SEOUL, South Korea – The Google Android-based LG Optimus 2X launches as the world’s first Nvidia Tegra 2-powered smartphone, providing dual-core speed to the handset’s users.
With dual-core processors comes more functionality, closing the gap between fully-fledged multimedia devices and smartphones. In the Optimus 2X’s case, the camera gets HD video recording and playback in 1080p resolution, HDMImirroring, and probably plenty of future games which will take advantage of the processing power.
The handset takes the form-factor of the general full-touchscreen, with a 4″ touchscreen display taking most of its front side, together with four hardware keys.
