Barcoding Inc. said it hired Joe Santini as director of professional services, where he will lead development of the company’s new professional services division. Santini previously was an independent sales consultant, with expertise in advising small and mid-size companies on correcting sales tactics and improving sales performance. He also served as director of global sales portal for Seimens Communications Inc.
Mobile marketing company Velti named Sally Rau chief administrative officer and general counsel, and Ian Arthurs vice president of customer development. Rau joins the company from DLA Piper, a legal services provider, where she was a partner focusing on public company representation, corporate governance, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. Arthurs previously led sales and customer support at Google for the retail and travel vertical markets. He also helped define the Google AdWords service model in the United States.
