Qualcomm, Starent, Cogo to gain from Chinese 3G

The Chinese Government’s decision to grant new 3G, or third-generation, wireless licenses should give a boost to network equipment makers Starent Networks Corp. and Qualcomm Inc., as well as cell phone designer Cogo Group Inc., a Piper Jaffray analyst said Wednesday.
