—BillShrink.com: Trinity Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners led an $8 million Series B funding round into BillShrink.com, a service that helps consumers manage their money. Gus Tai of Trinity Ventures will join the company’s board of directors in connection with the financing.
—MobUI: GlobalNET Mobile Solutions led a funding round into MobUI Corp., a mobile application development company. At the same time MobUI announced it has acquired Action Engine Corp. The company said it plans to use the funds and Action Engine’s technology to create applications for the iPhone and the mobile Web.
