Cellular
–United Kingdom: Mobile Broadband Network Ltd., the network venture of T-Mobile UK and 3 UK, selected Nokia Siemens Networks as a technology partner for 3G network integration. Nokia Siemens will provide a network consolidation solution that will provide environmental benefits, cost savings and service improvements, said the company.
Wi-Fi
–China: The Enterprise Mobility business of Motorola Inc. said it deployed a campuswide wireless local area network for Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. The WLAN will enable multimedia Internet-based teaching, automatic academic office management, Internet access, long-distance teaching and other services.
