Mobile content provider go2 Media Inc. notched its third tier-one carrier win, announcing an agreement to deliver information through T-Mobile USA Inc.’s t-zones service.
The Boston-based firm said T-Mobile wireless Web subscribers can access two go2 offerings – a sports channel with dedicated NBA and NFL portals and a mobile news site focused on this year’s presidential election – as well as a custom directory for nearby business listings and other local information. Additional sites are expected to be added in coming months, go2 said.
“T-Mobile is always looking to provide our mobile Web subscribers with valuable services that simply integrate across all the mobile devices we offer,” said Mike Belcher, director of integrated marketing for T-Mobile USA. “Go2 is available across virtually any mobile device and providers our customers with easy-to-use sites that deliver both compelling and useful information.”
Go2 also has on-deck agreements with Verizon Wireless and Sprint Nextel Corp.
