Mobile messaging services provider Sybase 365 said it won a deal with Australian stockbroker Bell Direct.
Sybase will power Bell Direct’s mobile share trading platform, which allows stockbrokers to trade shares by sending a text message. Sybase 365 acts as the gateway between Bell Direct’s trading platform and investor mobile phones, said the companies.
The service will be offered free to customers, though standard SMS fees will apply.
