Sierra Wireless introduced its PinPoint XT intelligent device targeted at vehicle tracking, fleet management and telematics applications.
The product is part of the company’s AirLink suite of in-vehicle modems. The PinPoint XT features ALEOS embedded technology and the company’s AceWare suite of remote management tools. The product also includes a suite of I/O ports, including four digital inputs, three analog inputs and two relay outputs.
The company said the product will be available for GSM and CDMA networks worldwide during the second half of this year.
