Mobility continues to be a top investment priority for enterprises, according to a new survey by Aberdeen.
The survey found that businesses increased their planned spending on wireless by 7.6% over last year.
In addition, business professionals named mobility as one of the top three technologies that will have the greatest impact on their business in the next three to five years. And nearly two-thirds of survey respondents said they plan to use high-speed mobile data services to enhance workplace productivity.
Mobile devices also are important to enterprises, with seven out of 10 organizations indicating they will deploy either Blackberry or Windows Mobile devices by the end of this year, said the firm.
Enterprise market high on mobility
