Vivendi Mobile Entertainment announced that Sandrine Dufour will take over as chairwoman of the company. She will take over for Robert de Metz who recently left Vivendi.
The business unit’s zaOza service will continue to be led by Cedric Ponsot, CEO of Vivendi Mobile Entertainment. Meanwhile, Dufour will continue to serve as deputy CFO of the company.
zaOza is a hybrid PC and mobile service that provides users access to content, including videos, TV shows, music, video games and ringtones.
The 41-year-old Dufour previously served as special advisor to various arms of the company. Before joining Vivendi in 1999, she was a financial analyst and worked at a brokerage firm in charge of the telecommunications sector.
