Virgin Mobile USA Inc. named a telecom and customer service veteran as VP of its customer management team.
Ted Vagelos will oversee Virgin Mobile USA’s 4.8 million wireless customers, and the company said his primary objective will be “integrating the company’s established service offerings with strategic new opportunities.” He will report to COO Jonathan Marchbank.
Vagelos previously served as VP of consumer products and product development for Citizens (Frontier) Communications, an independent local exchange carrier. Prior to that role, he was VP of product development and director of marketing for Citizens (Frontier).
“Ted has a proven track record in building the customer experience and a strong knowledge of the telecom and wireless industries. We look forward to leveraging his insights,” said Marchbank.
