Single Touch Interactive Inc., a mobile application provider, has purchased Soapbox Mobile for an undisclosed sum. A Single Touch Interactive representative confirmed the deal, but would not elaborate on any details of the transaction. A spokesperson for Soapbox Mobile was not immediately available for comment.
Soapbox Mobile is a mobile marketing firm offering a database and platform to help connect brands with consumers. The Carlsbad, Calif.-based company counts some big names among its clients, including Procter & Gamble, Guinness & Co., ESPN, House of Blues, MobiTV, Van’s Warped Tour, Saab and the now-defunct Amp’d Mobile Inc.
Single Touch Interactive sells mobile applications that deliver e-mail, sports information and news.
