T-Mobile International launched a mobile search service for European t-zones customers in the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands, with plans to expand to the Czech Republic later this month.
The mobile search service allows users to sift through content types, including multiple types of music downloads, games, pictures, videos, news and the mobile Web. Medio Systems Inc., which provides the solution, said that its offering has been “specifically designed to overcome the physical constraints of the mobile screen by providing a simple, click-saving experience which returns relevant answers instead of links.”
According to Medio, the agreement with T-Mobile also includes mobile advertising with the service; the mobile advertising is expected to begin rolling out internationally before the end of the year.
