ActsPower Technologies, an RF wireless development company, said it has developed technology that improves on-frequency repeater performance on cellular and PCS networks.
“When utilizing repeaters, wireless carriers are experiencing unacceptable levels of signal interference at each repeater site,” said Jai Bhagat, chairman of the company. “Increased signal interference at each site automatically translates into degradation of signal quality, which in turn diminishes the overall efficacy and functionality of the repeater itself.”
ActsPower said it will offer its interference cancellation system in a standard module that will work with most existing repeater systems. The company also plans to license the technology directly to manufacturers.
