UPDATED: T-Mobile USA tweaks business calling plans, drops 1,000-minute family option

T-Mobile USA Inc. tweaked its plans for business subscribers, adding a new 1,000-minute-per-month option and bumping up the price on its 1,500 minute plan. The carrier has also discontinued a family plan that offered 1,000 anytime minutes.

T-Mobile USA now offers a total of six plans to businesses, ranging from 300 minutes per month for $30 to 5,000 minutes for $129. The carrier’s newest option sits in the middle of that range: 1,000 minutes for $60.

To make room for the new offering, T-Mobile USA changed the price of its 1,500-minute business plan from $60 to $80 per month.

UPDATE: T-Mobile USA has again tweaked the price on its plans, and is now selling the 1,000-minute plan for $50 and the 1,500-minute plan for $60.

The carrier also appears to have dropped its 1,000-minute family plan for $50 per month with no off-peak calling included. T-Mobile USA launched the plan in early December presumably to drive uptake during the holiday sales season.
