Mobile content company Nellymoser Inc. tapped Susanne Bowen to replace founder John Puterbaugh as CEO.
Bowen most recently served as CEO of Webhire Inc., a Boston-based talent-management software firm, and has held senior executive positions with Workscape, Entex Information Services and JWP Information Services. Puterbaugh will stay with the mobile media technology company as director.
Nellymoser delivers interactive and personalized mobile content and services including on-demand video, music, ringtones and community-focused offerings. The company’s customers include Fox Interactive Media/IGN, Sony Connect, Macromedia, Microsoft Corp. and Warner Music Group.
“Susanne’s track record of growing software and services businesses will enable us to leverage our strong technology and premier customers as the market for rich mobile content evolves,” Puterbaugh said. “Her deep sales and marketing expertise matched with her ability to lead and inspire world-class teams will make her a valuable partner as we expand and deepen the management team.”
