NEW YORK-Viacom’s MTV Networks division said it is expanding its mobile entertainment efforts with the launch of MTVN Mobile Media.
MTVN Mobile Media will manage mobile partnerships and content distribution for the company and help develop mobile content and applications including personalization, entertainment, information and messaging products.
“Our audiences lead an on-demand lifestyle and our brands deliver the best pop-culture, music, comedy and entertainment programming on the handset,” said Mika Salmi, president of MTVN. “With MTVN Mobile Media, we’re poised to deliver even more compelling mobile content and further deepen our connection with our viewers.”
