Q Comm to supply phone kits and airtime to pair of MVNOs

OREM, Utah-Mobile virtual network operators Ready Mobile and Mojo Mobile said they will buy phone-in-a-box kits and airtime from Q Comm International Inc., which provides prepaid transaction processing and electronic point-of-sale distribution solutions.

Ready Mobile includes airtime rollover minutes and said its service is designed for consumers who make most of their calls during the daytime hours. The GSM-based phone kit retails for $40.

Mojo Mobile said its service features free nights and weekends and retails for $30. The phone uses CDMA technology.

Q Comm said it plans to offer the products to its retail network of more than 3,800 merchants, which can refill airtime accounts using one of Q Comm’s POS distribution solutions.
