SANTA CLARA, Calif.-Taiwanese carrier Chunghwa Mobile Business Group said it will deploy Azaire Networks Inc.’s Internet Protocol Converged Network Platform.
The product will allow Chunghwa Mobile to provide services across 2.5-generation, third-generation and wireless local area networks, said the companies. In addition, Chunghwa said subscribers will be able to use notebook computers with a 3G data card, a personal digital assistant or a dual-mode handset to access unified services across different networks.
Elta Technology Co. Ltd. will help integrate the system into Chunghwa Telecom’s core network. Chunghwa Mobile is part of Chunghwa Telecom.
