SICHUAN, China-Nokia Corp. said it has opened a mobile infrastructure research and development center in Sichuan, China, marking the sixth R&D center the company has opened in China to date.
The new R&D center is located in Chengdu, the capital city of the Sichuan province in Western China, said Nokia. The center will develop mobile applications based on third-generation and Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystems for markets around the world.
