WALTHAM, Mass.-Airpath Wireless Inc. said it is working with Telex Communications Inc. and the Education First Network to broaden a coast-to-coast inter-campus wireless communications system.
The unified communications system will consolidate disparate communications devices into a single interoperable system for emergency response and other applications in an educational setting, said Airpath.
Telex is providing its Vega IP-based communication equipment. The Education First Network is a result of several partnerships, including Airpath, the Broadband Alliance and the National Joint Powers Alliance.
