SAN JOSE, Calif.-Royal Philips Electronics introduced what it said is the world’s smallest FM radio solution for mobile devices.
The company said about 15 percent of mobile phones sold worldwide currently include FM radios. Philip’s portfolio of radio solutions includes FM, AM/FM and FM+RDS. The integration of RDS allows users to view a station name, scan for a particular type of program and keep the receiver tuned to the strongest-available signal.<
