Transition team named for retuning 800 MHz band

WASHINGTON-The Federal Communications Commission said late Friday that it concurred with the Transition Administrator Search Committee and was selecting BearingPoint, Squire-Sanders-Dempsey L.L.P., and Baseline Telecom, Inc.-to be known as the BearingPoint Team-as the Transition Administrator for retuning the 800 MHz band.

The team will be charged with several aspects of the transition to reband 800 MHz spectrum in order to stop interference to public safety.
