FALLS CHURCH, Va.—Broadband equipment maker Terabeam Wireless launched its Marquee Series portfolio of broadband wireless networking solutions.
The company said the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing product line provides up to 36 megabits per second over-the-air-data rates, range in excess of 30 miles and near line-of-sight communication. The portfolio is available for 4.9 GHz and 5.8 GHz networks with 2.4 GHz equipment planned for later this year, and it can be configured for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint transmission.
Other features include adaptive dynamic polling, packet aggregation, bandwidth management at the client and two-way authentication between client and base.
