Nickelodeon game coming to wireless market

AUSTIN, Texas-Mobile game publisher Reaxion Corp. will partner with Nickelodeon to bring Bleeposaurus to the mobile market.

Originally developed by Nickelodeon Online, “The Adventures of Bleeposaurus” is Nickelodeon’s first original three-dimensional platform adventure, featuring a blue triceratops whose sister has been kidnapped. The game is one of Nick.com’s offerings of paid, downloadable arcade games.

Friday’s announcement marks Nickelodeon’s second such effort in 10 days. Last week, the popular children’s network said it would work with publisher Jamdat Mobile Inc. to develop mobile games based on Nickelodeon’s “Dora the Explorer” and “Blue’s Clues” TV shows.

” ‘The Adventures of Bleeposaurus’ has been one of the most popular games available on the Nick.com Arcade,” said Paul Jelinek, vice president of new business development for Nickelodeon Online. “We are excited to bring this original franchise to life in the wireless medium.”
