ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill.-PrairieComm Inc., which supplies baseband processors and software, said the company will undergo a reorganization that will separate its second-generation TDMA products and third-generation development into separate business units.
The company said the reorganization will allow it to more effectively allocate resources and maximize opportunities for each product line.
As part of the reorganization, Lindo St. Angel has been promoted to vice president of engineering with responsibility for 3G product development. He will also oversee PrairieComm’s Bangalore, India, software design center. Jim Berg was promoted to vice president of sales and marketing with a focus on securing new customers for the company’s 3G reference phone platform. Jack Diehl was named general manager of TDMA.
