Alcatel, Intrado partner to deliver MMS suite to carriers

DALLAS-Alcatel and Intrado Inc. together announced they will provide the Alcatel Multimedia Messaging Services product suite to wireless carriers using Intrado’s hosted service facilities.

The companies said the agreement reinforces a trend toward managed services that help wireless service providers reduce costs and quickly bring new products to market.

“With the Alcatel relationship, Intrado continues to extend our leadership in managed services. Our experience providing customers the latest safety and messaging technology in a service-bureau environment is an excellent match with the high-performance products developed by Alcatel,” said Dan Hoskins, senior vice president of the wireless business group at Intrado.
