NeoMagic, M-Systems aid MMS for TCL phones

SANTA CLARA, Calif.-NeoMagic Corp. said it has partnered with M-Systems to enable multimedia services in TCL Corp.’s Windows Mobile-based smart phones.

NeoMagic will provide its MiMagic application processors, while M-Systems will offer its mobile disk-on-chip.

“In designing Windows mobile software, Microsoft sought to create a powerful platform upon which our industry partners could build innovative applications and services for the mobile information worker and consumer alike,” said Kevin Lee, group product manager for the Mobile devices division at Microsoft Corp.
