CANNES, France-T-Mobile USA Inc. announced its HotSpot subscribers can now roam in five countries in Europe where European T-Mobile affiliates have 700 HotSpot locations.
The locations in Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands and the U.K. will allow North American T-Mobile HotSpot subscribers to access Wi-Fi while abroad, using their current user name and password.
“The T-Mobile HotSpot magenta bulls eye will be a familiar symbol for our subscribers traveling in Europe, promising a reliable experience like they have come to expect when using our Wi-Fi service in more than 4,100 locations across the U.S.,” said Joe Sims, vice president and general manager of T-Mobile HotSpot USA. “Now T-Mobile USA subscribers can get a seamless Wi-Fi experience while traveling abroad.”
T-Mobile also announced its will incorporate U.S. Airways Club locations with its T-Mobile HotSpot wireless broadband Wi-Fi service, beginning in select clubs this month. T-Mobile’s HotSpot service ranges in price from $10 for a 24-hour DayPass to $40 per month for a Month-to-Month plan.
