NEW ORLEANS-AIR2LAN announced it has received $1 million in financing it plans to use to continue the development of its New Orleans market and to deploy its services to new markets in Monroe, West Monroe, Ruston, Bastrop, and additional satellite markets in Louisiana.
“AIR2LAN is very pleased to receive additional funding. The company has made tremendous strides in the marketplace and in the recent months has enhanced its network to provide up to 10 Mbps Internet connectivity to its business accounts,” said Jai Bhagat, chief executive officer and chairman of AIR2LAN.
“With every passing day, businesses require more and more bandwidth,” Bhagat added. “They are quickly discovering that AIR2LAN’s ability to efficiently and affordably deliver this bandwidth is the primary reason why AIR2LAN is experiencing a great deal of success in this market segment. We plan to launch our new markets in Louisiana with the most advanced broadband wireless technology to serve businesses as well as residential accounts.”
